Jimmy Barnes is the CEO of True Path Financial, a leading financial services organization in Orange County. Jimmy’s dedication and impact in the financial industry have earned him national recognition. He was nominated the #1 Managing Director in both 2021 and 2020 before becoming the General Agent and CEO. In 2019, he was awarded the Managing Director Rising Star of the Year, and he has qualified for President’s Club every year since. Under his leadership, True Path Financial received the National Life Agency Builder Gold award in 2023. From 2019 to 2024, True Path Financial is the only firm to meet its commitments with National Life Group during this five-year span.

As CEO, Jimmy not only manages transformative client relationships but also recruits, develops, and leads a growing team of agents. He is dedicated to mentoring his team, challenging them to surpass both their personal and professional goals while making a lasting impact in the financial services space.

Jimmy’s career in finance began after playing football for his father, the legendary Coach John Barnes, at Los Alamitos High School. He later attended the University of Alabama to start his B.S. in Business Administration before completing his degree at Bemidji State University. Jimmy began his career at MassMutual, where he quickly rose to become a Century Circle qualifier, Leader's Club qualifier, and Million Dollar Roundtable qualifier. He also became a key member of the management team, joining the Management Summit and Management Council.

Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his wife Katherine, their two daughters, Rory and Aria, and their son Max. He is also an avid fisherman and enjoys various sports. In his spare time, Jimmy is passionate about classic cars.
